No gym today. I felt partly tired, partly "giving myself the night off".  It seems like whenever I'm in a good mood, I let myself have a pass, but when I'm angry or irritated then I have to get to the gym to work it out! Is reactionary gym-attendance similar to emotional eating?

Wow, I wish it always worked that way. I wish I ran to the treadmill instead of Ben & Jerry every time I felt whacked out.

I have discovered that sometimes I really just need a day off, I am trying to not beat myself up over it when it happens!

It's awesome to work out your anger at the gym, but maybe try looking at it as "celebrating" a good day also [for when you're in a good mood].

I agree with Scarlet, I find it much harder to go when I'm in a bad mood.

I agree with you the gym for me is a stress reliever. I go there and work out any frustrations, and usually feel better.

How was the chicken salad? Tt sounds very yummy.
