Highweigh to Hell

(While I do love AC/DC, this is the Glee Cast version! I have, of course, been listening to the newest Glee songs nonstop. HOW FUN was the Madonna episode. PS Like a Prayer is my favorite Madge song and I was so happy they sang it. Loved their version.)

Weight this AM:

204.6!

A nice 3 pound loss from last week. Hooray! I’d say I earned it. Lots of water, a leeetle more exercise, healthy food choices, no booze, all that good stuff.

I don’t think I’ll be able to pull off 4.6 pounds before next week’s May weigh-in, which is fine. I know I’ll be close and I know I’ll hit Onderland IN May. So that’ll be good. I just need to keep trying and keep making good decisions and exercising and the numbers and pants sizes will follow.

And now, I write about my emotions, far too early on a Monday morning.

This isn’t an unheard of topic, but, it’s something on my mind now that I’m nearing Onederland: fear of success. Many of you/us talk about the fear of what happens next, after we reach a big goal or inch closer towards it every day. Being large is a safety net – we can say “I would do this but I’m too big” or “The fact that I’m this size is keeping me from doing *insert activity or whatever here*” but…when that’s taken away, we don’t have any more excuses. Will I get less funny the thinner I get? Will dating really be that much easier? Will I have the courage to try new things, when it’s more likely a fear of failure or looking stupid, rather than a fear of being fat that is keeping me from doing them?

Anyway, I’m bringing these things up to sort of…prepare myself? To put it out there so I don’t fall into these traps.

*
During SWL1 (Successful Weight Loss 1.0 – from 2007 to July of 2009 I lost 65 pounds) I got down to 197 in August of 08. I felt so great and I wrote in my journal at the time “I am NEVER going back to above 200!” and what did I do a few weeks later? You guessed it. The scale went up and KEPT going up until July of 09.

Now, there was a LOT that was going on in my life that affected me emotionally and I let it completely crush any motivation I had. I had lost the weight that put me under 200 while I was in London. I was living my dream. Working for an arts organization, in London, not living with my parents, I was just. me. I have never been happier than in those two months. And a ton of weight came off. I was eating well and walking everywhere. Even when the tube was available and we were given our transportation stipend…I walked. Just to do it. God I loved it.

Anyway, so I come back home, rode the London high for about a week, and then stopped eating well and exercising. I was so depressed to be back home. To be a dependent. To be still so closely tied to my parents, knowing full well that I should have been out on my own by then. There were additional issues happening then too that greatly contributed to my lack of emotional health, but this was a big factor. Sigh. And the weight slowly crept up, and then it shot up in Jan-July of 09.

I had the opportunity to look at things positively – to capitalize on my time in London and keep it going, even though I didn’t like the circumstances I was returning to. It’s not like they weren’t the same ones that I was living in two months prior before I left. I’m no psychologist, but maybe I let myself get bogged down in my emotions (I’m cutting myself a little slack because at that point, and definitely from Jan-July 09, I think my depression was pretty, uh, robust) and allowed myself to gain weight – some part of me was afraid of weighing less and less.

*

I haven’t weighed under 200 in maybe 7 or 8 years? I’m a little scared of the responsibility that comes with it, to be honest. The second half of my journey (the next 50 pounds) is harder – it’s harder to lose weight the smaller you get, and I’m afraid of the struggle. I’m afraid of how much harder I’m going to have to work and I’m scared of not being able to do it.

So I’m coming up on Onederland…and I find out this week or next whether or not I got that job. If I get it, it means I can make plans to move out. Now, the interview went well and (I looked snazzy thanks to you all, by the by. I went with the jacket and the coral top. Thank you for all your input! The coral was the one I had in my mind to begin with and I’m glad the majority vote was with me!) there is nothing I could have done better. But if I don’t get it…I have no other prospects on the horizon.

I just don’t want any potentially disappointing news to trigger anything – to then allow myself to be sent into a tailspin that involves reintroducing my hidden food stash under my bed, being anti-social and generally snarl-y.

Bleh. But that’s just something I wanted to get out. What I can do right now is just be mindful this week and make good choices. (and BLOG MORE, geeeeez!)

Back from Katmandfood

Today was a pretty great day! Lots of successes.

First of all, I found out I scored a new temp gig! It starts next Thursday and it’s going to be full time and last for at least two weeks – it’s with a nonprofit in DC and I’ll be doing fundraising/development assistance type stuff. I’m really excited. It’s a step closer to the type of career I want and I can’t wait to get my feet wet.

This was all set up through a recruiter that I have been working with who has been an absolute angel. She really makes me feel like she’s paying attention to me, and invested in finding me work; whether she actually is or she cares enough to make me think she is doesn’t really matter – if I’m on this end, either works! And it clearly does since I’m gonna be working!

The best part of all this? I had to interview for it, and I wasn’t the only candidate. I was CHOSEN.

Can I…can I just repeat that?

I WAS CHOSEN.

I interviewed for something, was competing against others, and for once, came out on top.

That makes me feel so good. It’s definitely been a confidence booster for me.

The other successes for me:

Pretty decent eating! Had some greek yogurt/honey/Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal mix for breakfast, along with a cup of coffee.

I did more light snacking throughout the day versus one bigger meal – had some strawberries, then some turkey pepperoni and string cheese, and then an arnold’s thin with almond butter.

For dinner I had some veggie crunchers (I need to take a break from these, I think. Step. Away!) and a ridiculous sandwich. I had a Weight Watchers bagel with 2 slices of American cheese, a little bit of mayo, and some bread and butter pickles. It’s actually one of my favorite sandwiches. I have the palate of a seven year old.

I also had a Diet Coke. I think there are about 5 or so Diet Cokes left in the fridge. Once they’re gone I am not going to buy any more.

So as I tell you about what I did this evening, I’m going to tell you something good, and something kind of shameful.

The shameful thing is that I have a treadmill in the basement. To use whenever I want and I don’t think I’ve stepped on it in…maybe around a year? I cannot remember the last time I was on it. But I feel guilty that it’s down there in our basement collecting dust while I pay for a gym membership.

The GOOD thing is that I actually used it tonight!

I was on it for a little over 20 minutes I think. I was maybe running for 3? The reason I’m not sure on times (or speed or incline, for that matter) is because the display is broken. And the way to change speeds is to push up this little lever. And it’s one of those old models that folds up, but when you rest it down it sits at an incline that can’t really be adjusted. Okay so really I hate this fucking treadmill but at least I got on it.

Between the combination of the incline and not running for four weeks, that little spurt of running just about killed me. It’s so sad how quickly you lose that kind of momentum, isn’t it? Yeesh.

Maybe the reminder of how much I hate my treadmill at home will be enough of a kick in the butt to get me back to the gym!

PS: Post title brought to you by a song off of OK Go's new album. Love them. And the video for one of their other new songs is GREAT.

Man! I Meal Like a Woman

Before I get into the post, can I tell you that one of my more ridiculous pet peeves is my irritation over how Shania Twain talks during, like, all her songs' instrumental sections...drives me NUTS. JUST LET THEM PLAY. There is no need, Shania. See - it gets me all caps-lock shouty. I'll admit to enjoying a few of her songs, but UGH, whenever she starts talking it just....ERGH. I guess that's kind of a 90s pop music thing though - Britney, Backstreet Boys, Mandy Moore all did it. But I didn't like when they did it either. *Love Always, Mandy* heh.

On to the regularly scheduled post!

Well well well. The math doesn’t lie, I'm supposin'. I totally jogged a full mile today. A mile. All at one time. I am so proud of myself. Thanks to everyone for confirming this for me – I seriously was afraid it was too good to be true, even though I saw the display and did the exact same math that you all did!

I never thought I would think I could find a comfortable jog pace. But that’s exactly what 4.8 was, even as I was doing it. It felt comfortable. I never ever in a million years thought that I would have a pace at which jogging would be COMFORTABLE;

And then to do a whole mile! Plus a little extra. I just…I jogged a mile today. And I wasn’t dying at the end, either. I don’t want to go and say I could have done a lot more, because I just don’t know but…it was well within my capabilities to run a mile. I never would have thought such a thing, at least not at this point.

Lest you think a mile was the end of the workout, let me continue!

After the miracle mile (ha) I did 4 machines (and some of them have more than one move involved so I’m doing three sets, but two or three times), then did some jump rope and abs stuff then more jump rope, then 4.5 minutes on the treadmill at 3.5mph and an incline of SEVEN. That got the ol’ heart rate up! Then I did two more machines…and then I got bored and went home. :-P

It was a rainy and gloomy day but you got all smiles from me :-D

Water - 116oz! Boom.

In other news, I totally got in the Christmas spirit today...I know, I know, it's not even Thanksgiving yet. But I couldn't help it! I rocked some peppermint hot chocolate and a newly created Christmas playlist complete with:

O Holy Night - NSync (I love their version and I'm not ashamed to admit it)
All I Want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey
Christmas in Hollis - Run DMC
Jingle Bell Rock - Neil Diamond
Here Comes Santa Claus - Doris Day
Sleigh Ride - Ella Fitzgerald
Baby It's Cold Outside - Leon Redbone and Zooey Deschanel (Elf Soundtrack - can't wait til that movie is on TV all the time!)
Winter Wonderland - Phantom Planet
Skating - Vince Guaraldi (from A Charlie Brown Christmas)

...and many others!

Breakfast:

*glass/cup of milk
*egg sandwich: 1 LCL wedge, egg subst, ketchup, 1/8 of an avocado sliced, toasted arnold’s thin
*half of a gala apple sliced

Lunch:

*sandwich: roasted red pepper, spinach, tzatziki sauce, toasted arnold’s thin
*bowl of Tastybite’s Madras Lentils soup

Snack:

*peppermint hot chocolate (using peppermint tea and Swiss Miss Sensible Sweets Diet Cocoa)

Dinner:

*half a large sweet potato, mashed with salt and pepper and a few sprays of I Can’t Believe Yada Yada butter spray
*cup of veggie crunches (plus a few more…gotta stop reaching back into the bag, argh!)

playlist

I pretty much can’t function without music. Especially when it’s something I have no interest in doing but must do anyway – mainly jogging and cleaning. If it weren’t for music I would probably never do either of these things.

Today I had a LOT of cleaning and organizing to do. Going through papers, files, purses (the crap I find in them is astounding...), clothes both old and current, etc etc.

So I made a playlist. Most of them are songs that make me happy or make me laugh or nostalgic or some sort of happy emotion to distract me from the bane of my existence that is dusting and putting away laundry.

Enjoy. Or feel free to mock me.

Cowboy – Kid Rock
King of Spain – Moxy Fruvous
I Want it That Way – Backstreet Boys

Lazy Sunday – The Lonely Island
Baby It’s Cold Outside – Leon Redbone and Zooey Deschanel
Just a Girl – No Doubt
I’m a Believer – The Monkees

it's not a dream anymore, it's worth fighting for

Lyrics from Paramore's Looking Up, anyone? I think I've written the lyrics as a post before. It's kind of my favorite song right now. I always get excited when it comes up on the ol' workout playlist. Everytime I hear that line that I used above, I'm reminded that I'm DOING things right now. I know I have a ways to go, but I'm DOING it. It kind of puts me in the moment and makes me proud of my efforts. So I likez it.

So...

Just got back from the gym AND the pool! Take that, goals I set for myself! Only two more gym sessions left and a little quality time with Jillian and her shredding. For the week, anyway :-P

Gym was good. 11 minutes on the treadmill, like 4 of which were jogging. WAH WAH WAHHHHHHH. (game show fail noise) I haven’t really been challenging myself too much with the jogging. Ever since I discovered that jogging outside doesn’t have you staring at a clock as each unattractive-panting-filled second ticks by, I can’t get jazzed up about that treadmill. Even when I cover up the display with a towel, I can't always talk myself out of peeking...every 20 seconds. Of course, have I been jogging outside this week? Of course not. Anyway, back to today’s gym time. I did weights. And I upped the weight on a lot of them, so yay! I even attempted this one:

I brought my knees up to my chest, but I could only do it THREE TIMES. I can’t support myself on that thing quite yet. There’s certainly room for improvement! Yeesh. Other than this machine’s disaster, the workout was good.

Pool was good too. I swam for 35 minutes! I didn’t take any big breaks either.

And here is the waffle recipe from yesterday! I love that it uses whole wheat flour, and it's very simple and quick and easy. Those are always my qualifiers for baking now! It is:

1 ½ (1.5) cups whole wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1 tbsp “pumpkin pie spice” (OR 1 tsp each of cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg)
1/8 tsp salt
2 eggs
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 2/3 cups milk
¼ cup canola oil

I mixed the dry ingredients and then added the wet ones. Instead of eggs I used egg substitute, and for the brown sugar I used about half brown, half Splenda. And I just realized, but didn’t do it, I could have replaced the oil with applesauce.

It made 10 waffles in my iron. And they freeze well and toast up nicely!

PS: This is suuuper random, but can LOST come back on now?! I can't wait until January. I want it now! (said with Veruca Salt accent)

18 October 2009

I got a Little Red Foo(d)ster

Breakfast:

*whole wheat wrap with 1/3 a cup egg subst. and 1 LCL wedge, ketchup, a little bit of garlic salt (this is clearly my new obsession…I should just go ahead and tell you this will be my standard breakfast for the next two weeks)
*2/3 a cup cottage cheese
*can of V8

Lunch:
*grilled cheese: 1 arnold’s sandwich thin (multi grain), 1 string cheese sliced/cut up, 1 LCL wedge, heated/melted in a skillet with Pam. It was DELICIOUS.
*1-2 cups of Progresso French onion soup (I end up pouring out half the broth b/c I like a smaller broth/solid ingredient ratio, and maybe I can filter out some of the sodium that way too)

Dinner:

* a cup of the chicken salad from earlier (chicken, honey mustard, diced gala apple, craisins, and a little bit of plain yogurt)

Pretty bland day. But that’s good. My headache/migraine has basically subsided. Do migraines or headaches usually last like 40 hours? It started around 10pm Friday night, was at its worst 10pm Saturday night, and is now almost gone, close to 8pm on Sunday. Oh well, let’s hope I don’t have to encounter it ever again!

Today I felt hungry most of the day. Maybe I should have had a snack or two in between meals, because I felt like I was restricting myself from food. Even after lunch I didn’t really feel full. Did my stomach capacity stretch from yesterday’s eating? Who knows.

No exercise. I can’t believe I only did something twice this week. I did do more walking/moving around than normal in a general sense, but I don’t really count that. Except for when I took the stairs up three flights to my friend’s apartment instead of taking the elevator. I’m totally counting that! But I’ll definitely have to make an effort this week to get moving again, for real.

Oh, other food tidbits:

*I tried to make cauliflower mashed potatoes tonight for dinner. I don’t know if the cauliflower wasn’t good anymore, but…they tasted like butt. I used cauliflower, a little splash of skim milk, two LCL wedges, a little salt and pepper, and when I heated it I sprayed it with a little bit of the I Can’t Believe stuff on it. BUTT, I TELL YOU. I think it might be the cauliflower. I’m gonna have to get some more and try again. Because a healthy vegetable in mashed potato form?? Sign me up.

*Speaking of potatoes, I’ve been wanting sweet potatoes recently. Those things are delectable. And I finished up the butternut squash – so I need a sweet orange-y healthy food to cook! Or bake. Probably bake. Or roast.

Wow I am obsessed with fall flavors. And colors. And weather. And clothing. Except for all the rain we’ve been having, that gets an F. Which in this case, does not stand for Fall.

One of the blogs I read voraciously, the last twenty, gave me a lil award!

Here are the rules

1. Thank the person who nominated me. [Thank you Nic!! For the award and all your comments – they make my day!]
2. Copy the award and place it on my blog.
3. Link to the person who nominated me.
4. Name 6 things people might find interesting.
5. Nominate 7 bloggers.
6. Post links to the bloggers I nominate.

Before I get to the other rules, I also want to point out that nic’s other blog http://perdiemfashion.blogspot.com/ is GREAT. Nic, I llurrrrrve your sense of style and your outfits. Is it weird to say that I want dress exactly like you? Haha. I’m such a creep.

On to #3 in the rules, here are 6 things – “interesting” might not be applicable.

1. If I am writing, or for some reason need to be creative, I listen to Sam Cooke. He brings out my creativity. Maybe it’s my own perception of myself that changes, or the sweet simplicity of his music, I don’t know. But I love it and it helps things flow. I also have fake hipster glasses that I sometimes wear. Sam Cooke and hipster glasses got me through a lot of my grad school projects. I’ve actually never told anyone that. And in the interest of full disclosure, I’m doing both right now. If you never talk to me again after reading that, I’ll understand.

2. Speaking of glasses, I’m pretty sure I need real ones. I’m definitely nearsighted. The last time I got my license renewed I had to take an eye test and this is what it sounded like as I did it “E…N….S?……..R??.....is that a W? Oh wait, no, that’s an M…M….” Seriously. I think I just got a representative that didn’t care. As soon as I get health insurance, I’m forcing myself to go to an eye doctor. Even though I would rather just stay in denial.

3. I was a Girl Scout for 9 years. Next to band, it was the best thing I ever did. I would love to get a job with GSCNC (Girl Scouts Council of the Nation’s Capital)

4. I get nervous when Christmas rolls around. I kind of don’t trust the holiday anymore. Last year was a good one, but two years ago (2007) my maternal grandmother died and we spent Christmas and almost New Years in the hospital, and it was our first Christmas without my fraternal grandmother (who passed in August of 07). Christmas of 06 my uncle died. Christmas 05 my fraternal grandmother had some words and opinions for me at dinner and made me cry on Christmas Eve. AWESOME CHRISTMAS MEMORIES.

5. In 6th grade, I subscribed to the American Girl doll magazine. Also in 6th grade, we had an Invention Fair as a class project. I came up with a winter undergarment that basically had gloves attached – you know, no snow up the sleeves onto your skin! A few months after the fair, I am looking in my AG magazine, and there is a little featurette about a girl my age who invented THE SAME THING and WAS MAKING MONEY OFF OF IT. I was so mad. I still am.

6. The first time I ever heard Ray Lamontagne sing, I got goosebumps. It was at a Guster concert and he was the warm up act. He started singing and my jaw dropped and I thought….”OH…I’m gonna need to be pay attention now.” I have been in love ever since. I want my first dance at my wedding (with that boyfriend I don’t have yet) to be to You Are The Best Thing. I know you’re supposed to pick out a song that you and your partner share, but I don’t care. I’ll work it into the relationship so it fits. This song choice is a closely guarded secret, I haven’t told this to my friends - much like how Monica on Friends didn’t want to tell Rachel her favorite baby names out of fear that she would use them first. And then Rachel went and took the name Emma – so you tell ME if I’m crazy! (Oh, I am)

Hold Up Weight a Minute Let Me Put Some Pimpin' in It

I'm not even gonna fake you out on this one!

238.6!

That is a 5 pound loss! I think it's partly because last week I only had a .4 loss, as it was coming off of a time which shall not be named. (Guess I still have a little Harry Potter in me from last night!)

So I'm excited. This means I'm down a total of 22 pounds so far. Wooot. No idea on inches, I forgot to do that at the beginning. I know that my bra fits better (it was a little snug when I bought it) and obviously the jeans are getting too big. And a shirt or two are fitting much better than they used to. I'd rather have these kind of measurements than...actual measurements? Clothes are more fun, anyway.

In other news, I am kinda sore this morning! I think I did more jogging yesterday on the track than I would have if I had done it on the treadmill. It was nice to not be a slave to the display numbers. And this might sound silly, but whenever I take a walk (which is rarely) or use resources that my community has, I always feel more connected to it and appreciative of my town and where I live. This helps a lot since I still live with my parents and I am often embarrassed about it.

***

Um, not like this matters, but I haven't used the beauty and music tags/labels in a while. So I thought I would. That's another obsession I have right along with office supplies - beauty/body products. Especially face/hair/makeup. If I had to narrow it down to my favorite beauty supply it would be:

Biosilk Silk Therapy. I have naturally curly/wavy hair that can also get really frizzy. Either when I blow-dry it straight or leave it to air-dry curly, I put this in every time post-shower, pre-comb. It is seriously a wonder product. And I like the way it smells. And you only need a dime-size amount (I think it's about a centimeter width, for our overseas friends!) so it'll last a long time.

And music, I just got a couple more of the Glee songs. I have been listening to their version of Alone (it's Matt Morrisson and Kristin Chenowith!) and the mash-up of Halo/Walkin' on Sunshine. Good times. It's definitely a morning/pick me up song.

01 October 2009

I'm ok, I'm alright, Ain't gonna face no defeat, I just gotta get out of this prison cell, Someday I'm gonna be free!

Gym today was simple, hard, and good. (TWSS?) 45 minute course on the elliptical, plus a five minute cool down. I did it on resistance level 3 (I have no idea what it’s out of) and the height went from 6 up to 10 and then back down to 6. I kept the RPMs in the 130-150 range. There were definitely a few times in the 10 height that I did NOT want to keep going. Blech!

Two music related things.

1: I don’t know if you saw my recent post on twitter (I think it’s weird to call it a “tweet”…wtf. I also don’t like the term “blog” so I’m often at a neurotic and unnecessary crossroads) it mentioned my, um, appreciation for Glee Cast’s version of Somebody to Love.

Do you have songs that just make your whole body sing from happiness?? Because this is one of them for me. I just…love it so very much. For serious. I put it on my workout playlist today and then on my way home I put down all my windows, turned up my stereo and blasted this. It was AWE.SOME.

2: I am a big fan of Paramore and their new album came out this week and one of their songs, Looking Up, has some good lyrics to listen to while working out:

Could have given up so easily
I was a few cheap shots away from the end of me
Taken for granted, almost everything that I would have died for
Just yesterday,
Just yesterday

Honestly, can you believe we crossed the world while it's asleep?
I'd never trade it in, cuz I've always wanted this!
It's not a dream anymore! Ohhh..
It's not a dream anymore! It’s worth fighting for.

Can't believe we almost hung it up
We're just getting started
I can't believe we almost hung it up
We're just getting started
We're just getting started.

Just because.

One of my favorite songs is Come Downstairs and Say Hello, by Guster. It starts off slow and dreamy and light, and gradually builds a beat and it drives and drives and finishes fast and upbeat and happy. And the lyrics are to die for, for anyone looking for motivation or to have their thoughts laid out in a song.

I started listening to Guster my freshman year of college, and this was one of those songs, and it wasn't until my junior year of college that I actually took notice of the lyrics and what they meant. From then on Come Downstairs and Say Hello has been my anthem for everything. And actually, I do hide in my room pretty much every day so it fits in a literal sense as well.

Dorothy moves to click her ruby shoes
Right in tune with dark side of the moon
Someone, someone could tell me
Where I belong
Be calm, be brave, it'll be okay

No more messing around and living underground
And new year's resolutions
By this time next year I won't be here

I turn on MTV, the volume's down
Lips move, they say
It'll be okay

To tell you the truth, I've said it before
Tomorrow I start in a new direction
One last time these words from me
I'm never saying them again

and I shut the light
and listen as my watch unwinds

To tell you the truth, I've said it before
Tomorrow I start in a new direction
I know I've been half-asleep
I'm never doing that again

I look straight at what's coming ahead
and soon its going to change in a new direction
Every night as I'm falling asleep
These words repeating in my head

Voices calling from a yellow road
To come downstairs and say hello
Don't be shy, just say hello

To tell you the truth, I've said it before
Tomorrow I start in a new direction
I know I've been half-asleep
I'm never doing that again

I look straight at what's coming ahead
and soon its going to change in a new direction
Every night as I'm falling asleep
These words repeated in my head

Womanizer - Britney Spears
Closer - Ne-Yo
Little Secrets - Passion Pit
I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas
Single - New Kids on the Block
Say Hey (I Love You) - Michael Franti & Spearhead
Proud Mary - Tina Turner

SUCH a random (and embarrassing – I’m looking at you, New Kids and Speedwagon) selection, I know. But they all make me happy, or they’re fun to sing along with, you get the idea.

In terms of exercise, I live in a 3 level townhouse - my room is on the top floor and the washer/dryer is in the basement. I only did two (enormous) loads but I made several more trips, and I counted the steps. A total of 736 steps, up and down. This equals out to 28 trips up and down, or 14 trips each way. I definitely sweat a bit, and I was out of breath because I made sure to hustle when I was going up and down.

I also did some free weight exercises with some *sheepish look* seriously dusty hand weights I had in the corner of my room. Heh. I did three sets of ten for five different arm/chest moves, and then the same rep amount of an oblique side-to-side type of move. Apologies, I am terrible at identifying names of muscle movement exercises. You remember when I referred to one gym machine as “the butt one”, right? At least oblique is in the right direction. Anyway.

Overall, I don’t think my cardio exercise today was strenuous enough, but at least I did something. I guess the day isn’t over, though; maybe I will do a little dancing. Dancing is the one thing that I could do forever and never tire of it. If I could relive my life I would absolutely enroll in dance classes at a young age and stay with it, even if I didn’t do anything professionally with it.

I'm currently eating a snack. Raw carrots/broccoli, and tzatziki sauce for enhanced tastiness:

I really love tzatziki sauce. If I find out it contains any of that artificial crap I mentioned earlier, I will be upset. Actually I might not care enough to stop eating the stuff. It's just so good. And as long as you don't bathe in it, it's not high-calorie.

And yes, it's sitting on my desk and those papers are begging to be sorted through and organized. Meh to the Pppbbbbth.
