I had dinner at a friend’s place tonight, and they made it and I ate it! I brought the salad though. But boy was I the President, Founder, and CEO of the Clean Plate Club!
I don’t feel that guilty about the food that I ate, but actually more about the time when we ate it. I don’t think we ate until maybe 9? I usually eat dinner around 6 or 7. I like to think it’s better to give the food time to digest. I think I read somewhere you need like three hours for proper digestion before you go to bed? I dunno, don’t quote me on that.
I would like to take this time to point out that this will NOT be the turning point. This will NOT be the entry that I reread months from now, wondering what the hell happened, and pinpoint this post as the beginning of that slippery slope.
I will exercise more than twice this week.
I will make my own food for the rest of the week.
I will eat more fruits and vegetables!
(I know it’s only one meal, and it could have been worse, but that’s how it starts. You say to yourself “Take a break, it’s not a big deal” but then you end up saying it to yourself every night of the week. And 60 pounds later, you’re at square one. Not that I would know anything about that.)

Hey! I just wanted to say, I love your blog. You totally crack me up... as do your post titles. No slipping down that slope, I know what you mean and I've totally been there. Keep up the good work!
